i yesterday just had the chance to see the deftones for the fifth time in washington dc at this years hfstival so i thought i would share the setlist...

uhh, i hadn't seen them play live in over a year and i was beginning to go through some sort of withdrawl, but yesterday was quite good. they opened with be quiet and drive, then went into my own summer (shove it), which was paused in the middle when chino stopped the song to make sure the fans up front were okay, then resumed. then i believe they played feiticeira, (new murderer), which was really great although no one seemed to know the song. then it was a little sketchy as far as the order is concerned but i know they played root, change (in the house of flies), (with chino on guitar which was quite cool), around the fur, bored, and closed with headup. they were awesome and it was the first time id ever seen chino with his hair down, cool though,. and it seemed like there was supposed to be an extended pause for chino to jump into the crowd on on around the fur which the band missed, which was funny cause chino backed up like he was going to jump offstage and the band went into the ending and he started laughing and didn't sing the rest of the song, just jumped around onstage. but, all around awesome awesome show for 8 songs.
