deftones

For such a short set, The Deftones put on a really phat show! Steph came out first to warm up alittle, and then Chino,Abe, and Chi out of no where busted out, and burst right into "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)." Their next song was "My Own Summer (Shove It)." Chino was so emotional and into his music, that when he bent down to scream, he busted his nose open on the mic. After that song, he stopped the show immediately to help get a girl out of the crowd, who was knocked unconscious. The next song was "Root," which got the crowd going nuts. Crucial Pit's were forming everywhere. I should know, I was then knocked unconscious. They got me up and over the wall, and back stage for medical attention. But not before I could wake up, and take a quick snap shot of chino right in front of me. I don't know what they played from there, but after I convinced the people back stage I was all right and that I would kill them If I missed any more of the show, I came back out just in time to hear the end of their new single, "Change (in the house of flies) off of their new album "The White Pony." Then, next, they played "Minus Blindfold" (I think). then they closed with "Bored," my all time favorite song. All in all, it was a very tight Deftones concert I won't forget for a long time to come. I can't wait till they come back to Dc on the 22nd of June. Peace!
