Well we geared up for the show around 3:00 and headed out to find runwayz, It had been raining all day so the driving was pretty slow. We got there around 4 oclock and only glassjaws bus was there. But then we saw the stage was out side which we thought was gonna suck, but there was sand for ground near the stage. So we chilled until about 5 Blue deftones bus pulls in we get out of the car, then they are on stage doing sound check, then i freaking see Chino walk by in a black hoodie and he goes into the building, then we watched the stage and then he came out again we met him shook hands got autographs and all that good stuff. Doors opened we got in packe din at about 2nd row, glass jaw wasnt half bad. pretty young band, Decent hardcore, Singer was the only really good talent. They also told us it was Chi's birthday. Then When it was finnaly dark out lights went dim. And everyone comes on stage opening riff for be quiet and drive plays then chino comes out. Really good pener place explodes. Then into root which rocked the whole place and then into nose bleed which i got gashed in the head by a spiked bracelt and bled. They played my own summer next. and mascara right into Around the Fur which really shook the place. They then went onto play knife prty, fecietra, change, street carp, Bored, Korea, To have and to Hold (Depeche Mode Cover) (Some girl asked him to play it when we met him before the show) Chino was right up on the barrier for alot of the show which was great, he was letting people sing as well. Thne he said "stop trying to grab my shoes. I paid $7 for them, On sale at walmart, its down the street make a left and two blocks down in the shopping center the got dickies $1995 a pair, get a pair. Like the faggot mother fucker fred durst!!" and everyone went nuts, Then he said "We have a record called adrenaline and this is one of our song off it" They busted in with 7 words. And Chino was in the crowd, So i ripped through everyone and was right in front of him. and then he bent over and me and this other guy sang "You dont know me, shut up you dont know me ..." which was sweet then right into engine #9 which he sang wicked at the end. Everyone knew it was coming and EVERYONE sang along. Then they walked off stage then chi came out with a towel on his head and a beer, he slammed it down then we sang happy birthday to Chi along with Chino and then busted into Head Up which was an amazing closer. And everyone screamed "walk in to this world with your head up high." and that was the amazing kick ass show the Deftones Put on.
