deftones

My wife and I went to the free show last night. Or should I say, tried to go. Well we showed up, but they were telling everyone to go home before they even opened the doors. All the people who got in were little teeny boppers with weak make up and zits all over the place. Since this was a free show and lining up couldn't start till 5:00, the working class didn't have a chance in hell. So anyway, we tried to talk to people, offer a price, beg, and nothing. All the security guys are these truckers who are 26-27 but think they've seen it all. Bad attitudes and talking allot of shit. So yeah, I'm a little bummed that we didn't get in but then I started to think, all this for the deftones? I'd rather stay home, listen to the c.d. without being treated like shit, play with my two sons, and finally save my time and energy for something good. I'm a fan but a bummed one right now. Imagine how much pus was on the floor after the show from all these kids moshing to "Be quiet and Drive". Allot. Sorry I sound like a dick but if you think about it, do you really think the show was free? Maybe for us but for the deftones, I'm almost positive they got paid from the club prior, in order to have the people get in for free. In other words, the club covers the cost of the admission to make us think that the deftones are way cool and they care for the fans that came out of their way. What I found strange is that live 105 sponsored this shit and they only play them at 2:00 in the morning. It's all business. I don't need this shit..anymore
