i attented the concert last night in Las Cruses NM. just thought id give a half ass review.

pitchshifter of course played first and they rocked. i only have www.pitchshifter.com but i stilll am impressed with thier style of music. they played a few good songs off that album like microwave, w.y.s.i.w.y.g, subject to status, and disfunction. thier sound quality was way better than when they toured with gravity kills.

quicksand was ok. i am a fan of quicksand's album slip. i loved it when it came out and was dissapointed with manic compression, i was especially dissapointed at their breakup following that album because i thought id never see them in concert. well i got my chance and i expected a better show but it was alright. they played about 4 songs off of slip e.g. fazer, head to wall, too official and ommision. i thought the vocals were too loud for the music but it was still live!

Deftones kicked ass. im not sure how many songs they played or what the exact set list was but it was an awesome show. my fav song they performed was headup and was surprised that was the song they chose as their encore. about half way through the show some stupid punk threw a shoe at chino and caught him smack center in the face. chino got REALLY upset and threw the mic at abe's drum set as hard as he could. then walked off stage and came back on to stop the music. after talking shit to the person who threw the show he apologized for losing his kool and the show resumed!

anyways to make a long story short this show kicked major ass!
