I saw they deftones on Dec. 10th at La Luna, in portland, OR.. it was sweet Quicksand and Snapcase opened for them....Snapcase was cool...nobody really digged Quicksand...they were ok...deftones were an hour late coming on stage, but well worth it..they crowd went crazy and broke out,..when they came on...the theather is like a big gym that holds about a 1000 ppl....there were so many ppl you couldn't even get inside the place...you couldnt breath..i've seen the deftones six times and that was the best show i've seen yet..the mosh pit was hard-core...even if you weren't moshing you would get thrown 20 feet across the room and back...chino stayed in the crowd the whole show...he was only on-stage for a few songs...but otherwise he was in there crowd surfing...the best part of the show was during there encore and the last song Chino said " I need a fucking beer" and he crowd surfed 300ft. to the back of the place to the bar and got a beer...he was on top of the bar singing...and said "portland is fuckin the best" then her crowd surfed the whole way back...it kicked hard core cant even explain it to you...
