i just read the other review of the show that i went to, and i got a different set list. opening song: lotion. following songs: root, my own summer, birthmark, mascara, around the fur, 7 words, bored, engine no. 9, mx, be quiet and drive, and last song: dai the flu. [all in that order, i'm prtty shure to MY knowledge] i don't remember any depeche mode song, cause i remember after the concert, i popped in around the fur, and i'm pretty shure the last song was dai the flu. ANYwhoski... that concert was SO good. it was scary as fuk though. it was my first and last time moshing. i was as close as you could get to the stage, (on stephen's side). he kept gettin real close to the edge, and givin the sign of the beast to all of us kiddies who were next to the speaker [me]. during their third song (birthmark), i had had enough. i was sik of some guy behind me tryin to get up on me, not being able to breathe, and my ears were flippin out. so, ten peeps got together to get me outta there. a security person eventually lifted me out, and i staggered to the closests seats to stephen's part of the stage. i got a good seat, but decided to get up on it and bust some moves during mascara. goodness, that is my FAVE song off of around the fur and that song was OFF THE HOOK when they played it live. Chino was croonin like mad... oh mans... before 7 words, chino pointed up to the nosebleed seats and gave props to his family, and then said, "and to my vice principal that kiked me outta high school, have a nice day-- dik." during engine no. 9, chino climbed up on the speaker where stephen was [my side]. he waited for a bit, and after the silence filled the auditorium, he jumped. i couldn't believe it!!! and most of all, i couldn't believed where he landed. i sware on my shamrok shurt that chino would've crushed me, if i hadn't of got out of the mosh pit sooner. thank goodness i did... the crowd looked like a tampoline as they absorbed his sexy body (yes, he IS hot). then he got up, got to the stage, and started singin again. mx was great, and chino traveled over to the right side of the mosh pit, once again ::sob:: i thought be quiet and drive was gonna be their last song, cause usually a set list is only like ten, and this was their eleventh song. i was surprised though, when chino was outta breath and all, "this is gonna be our last song..." and started up with dai the flu. man, i'm PRETTY shure that it was dai the flu!! (sorry, i'm just trying to convince myself that by restating that over and over... i hope it was...) but HOLY SHIT... I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT CONCERT... I SWARE...
