1983 Pantera formed by Darrell, Vinnie and Rex. They release their first Album titled Metal Magic.
1984 Second album Projects In The Jungle is released.
1985 Third album I am The Night is released.
1988 Philip Anselmo joins Pantera. Album Power Metal is released.
1990 Pantera sign with East West/Atlantic and release Cowboys From Hell, produced by Terry 'Rope King' Date.
1992 Vulgar Display Of Power released. Mouth For War was the first metal single ever to debut at #1.
1994 Pantera release new album, Far Beyond Driven. In March, Far Beyond Driven is released debuting at No. 1 U.S. album charts. The world tour begins.
1996 Pantera release The Great Southern Trendkill on May 7th. Newest album spoke out against the trend of alternative music. Pantera is acknowledged the best metal band in the world.
1997 Pantera releases 101 Proof. High adrenaline live concert songs plus a couple of previously unreleased songs.
2000 Pantera releases Reinventing the Steel. Debuts at No.4 on the Billboard 200.
