hey man my name is tim last night i went probally the greatest show ever in my life (well besides the pledge of alligence with system and slipknot) but my friends had been planing to go to see this tour for sometime now and im a new commer to heavy metal i listen to rap before kill me! i dont know much bands the head liners of course but not the little bands the really nitty gritty bands so i went to the webster only looing foward to seeing static x, one side zero came on and they were descent i liked them i would burn the album if i had the chance. i arrived late so i missed the first few songs of half side zero but somehow through shuffeling my way up i got to the front how lucky after zero there was a 15 min setup for soil hey looked to me as a much much harder guns and roses they were nice i really enjoyed them even through my constant struggle with fans i stayed in the front and after about a 1/2 an hour set up time the lights went dark and the crowd starting chanting " soulfly, soulfly, soulfly..." akmost deafing to me i was just a spectator to these guys never hearing one word of their songs the only way i knew of them was my friend had a tee shirt of them so all of the sudden the music hits and the lights go on the stage was covered in fog and the soulfly symbol was black on a white tarp in the middle fo the stage the camo net covered and visible parts of the stage green lights hit and i swear you thought you were in the midlle of the jungle when it went dark again and all you hear in the black scilence is a voice of max "how the fuck are you doing tonight hartford tribe?" the place goes nuts and you hear max say "uno dos tres go!" they start playing being the new man just hearing them or the first time i didnt know what ong they were singing but with thier hardcore sound i was drawn to them moshing and screaming the music stoped and max stared into the crowd and screamed "jump the fuck up" the place was shaking and going nuts i was trying to stand up but all the people jumping actually forced my body up and down the bass was so loud it was hitting against my chest almost painfully what a feeling one of the best ever they playeed thier set primative was thier best song in my mind they then pulled off this huge drom seguence where every member had a drum it was great later they encored with eye for and eye great song max threw a pic in the crowd i payed the kid 20 bucks to get it max changed his guitar 4 times if i rember correctly first time it had some weird aribic writing i think it was a green guitar then he had a black guita with the soulfly logo on it in steel later in the set he had a white guitar with the american flag on it then for the ecore he had a green guitar with the brizilan flag and max swiitches his shirt like 5 times everytime with a diffrent soulfly sport shirt i think on it they also played a new song on their yet to be relesed album dam good song they left the stage i was in amazment i quickly ran to go buy and album and a tee shirt of them it was really hot after that they took down all the tings of soulfly and put up a steel set and out came static - x but it was so hot in there kids were throwing up everywhere and i got sick myself i went to the bathroom to poor water on my head but over all i think there my 3 favortie band now behind system and slipknot i have spent all day downloading thier songs today as well as reading up on them but over all i give there preformance a 15 out of 10 they were that great and they have a new fan for life thats all i have to say anytime they come clost to Hartford im there
