soulfly

August 4, 2001 - San Bernadino, CA

Just got back from another amazing show put on by Soulfly. It was actually this thing called the "Fat Festival" in . There were a bunch of local bands, and Shuvel, (Hed) PE, and SOULFLY!!! I got there late 'cuz I didn't really care for the other bands. (Hed) PE was whatever, didn't really care for them. But once Soulfly went on, the whole place went ape shit. Of course they opened with "Back to the Primitive". They also played "Terrorist", which Max also sang Tom's parts and it sounded fuckin kick ass. But what kicked most ass was the Sepultura that they did and especially "Arise". Then they did an encore that consisted of "Eye for an Eye", "Roots Bloody Roots", and "Pain". Overall Soulfly kicked ass by putting on an intense performance. Here's what I remember of what they played.

back to the primitive
no hope, no fear
spit
bleed
arise
jumpdafuckup(intro)

straighthate

eye for an eye
roots bloody roots
