Album and Tour NewsAs recently announced, the PA based group has cemented it's once fluctuating line-up with fan favorites, Dan Weylandt (vocals), Scott Mellinger (gutiars), Russ Cogdell (guitar) and introducing Shawn Koschik (bass) and Steven Peck (drums). Plugging in at famed Trax East studios in New Jersey, the band will record their first album as a unit as well as for new home, Ferret Records (Static Lullaby, The Bronx). Capturing the band's fury on record will be producer Eric Rachel (Every Time I Die, God Forbid) and the untitled release will be unleashed this summer.
Ferret has also tapped the band for headlining honors of its first national all label tour. Joining ZAO will be sonic heavyweights: Misery Signals, Twelve Tribes and Scarlet. The bands will also be featured performers at this year's New England Metal & Hardcore Festival in Worcester, MA on 5/1.
New Zao Line-Up and Album NewsAfter much shuffling, Zao's lineup has somewhat settled on Dan Weyandt, Scott Mellinger, Russ Cogdell, Steven Peck, Shawn Koschik.
